The Prime Minister of Malaysia

Dato. Sri Haji Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak is the sixth and current Prime Minister of Malaysia. He previously held the post of Deputy Prime Minister from 7 January 2004 until he succeeded Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the Prime Minister on 3 April 2009. Najib is the President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He is the son of Malaysia.s second prime minister, Tun Abdul Razak.

Chief Minister of Sarawak

The Chief Minister of Sarawak, Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud was born on May 21, 1936 in Miri, Sarawak and graduated with an LLB in 1960 from University of Adelaide, South Australia. Following his return to Sarawak he was appointed Crown Council in 1962 and in 1963, he became State Minister. In 1968, he was appointed Federal Minister holding several portfolio until 1981 when he resigned to contest the Sebandi State by election in which he was returned unopposed. On March 26, 1981 Pehin Sri Haji AbdulTaib Mahmud was appointed as the fourth Chief Minister of Sarawak.

Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI)

Dato. Sri Mustapa Mohamed was appointed Minister of International Trade and Industry on 10 April 2009. Prior to this appointment, he was the Minister of Agriculture and Agro- Based Industry, and has held many other Government positions. A graduate in economics from the University of Melbourne, he pursued a Master.s degree at Boston University, and began his career as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer in the Ministry of Finance. Later, he lectured at the National Institute of Public Administration and served as Special Officer to the Minister of Finance, before entering active politics in late 1987.

Director General/CEO, Maylaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA)

Datuk Jalilah Baba has served MIDA in various capacities and assumed numerous responsibilities in MIDA HQ, and as Director, MIDA Selangor and Director, MIDA Milan. As Director of MIDA Selangor, she had assisted domestic and foreign investors in settingup their manufacturing operations in the state. Transferred overseas as the Director of MIDA Milan, Italy she was responsible for promoting foreign direct investments from Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Greece by facilitating and advising investors on investment opportunities, government policies and procedures and the facilities available for doing business in Malaysia. At MIDA HQ, she was the Director of Domestic Investment Promotion Division and had also served in various industries divisions, and the Industrial Promotion and Foreign Investment Promotion Divisions. Datuk Jalilah was appointed as the Deputy Director General of MIDA in 2006, and assumed the post of Director General of MIDA on 15 June 2008.

Director General, Ministry Of Health (Malaysia)

Tan Sri Datuk Dr Hj Mohd Ismail Merican is the Director General of the Ministry of Health. He is the President of the Malaysian Medical Council and holds chairmanship positions for boards and committees at national and international levels, as well as senior academic positions in local universities. He has also been invited as a guest speaker at national- and international-level forums and has over 70 publications.

Datuk Hajjah Norah is Executive Chairman and Member of the Board of Tanjung Manis Food & Industrial Park, as well as an elected Member of Parliament Malaysia for the Tanjong Manis constituency, Sarawak, Malaysia. She also serves as the Chairman and Member of the Board of the Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority (LKIM), Malaysia and Executive Chairman of the Multimedia Super Corridor Malaysia Sarawak (MSC) that was set up to provide the necessary technology-based infrastructure, hardware, services, and support structures for the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE). Additionally, she also sits on the Board of MYNIC Limited, Cooperative Commission of Malaysia (SKM) and on the Board of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysia. The Honorable Datuk Norah is a graduate from Harrow University College of Technology & Arts in the United Kingdom. Prior to venturing into politics, she was prominent businesswoman with a solid track record of leading successful business ventures in Malaysia.

Dato. Jebasingam Issace John is the CEO of the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) Development Council, the statutory body entrusted by the Malaysian government to oversee the development of the ECER. With over 30 years experience, having served at both Federal and State levels, he has been involved in key high-level projects including the Klang Valley Development Plan, and the Langkawi, Penang and Kulim Hi-Tech Parks.

Yusli bin Mohamed Yusoff has held various key positions in a number of public listed and private companies in Malaysia, whose activities span property and infrastructure development, telecommunications, engineering and merchant banking. His career in the stockbroking industry began in 2000, when he was appointed CEO of CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd, he also served as the Chairman of the Malaysian Association of Stockbroking Companies from 2003 to 2004. Presently, he is the CEO of Bursa Malaysia Berhad and a Director of its group of companies.

Bakarudin Ishak is the Assistant Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia), overseeing the Islamic banking and takaful, payment system policy and currency management.
