The three megawatt solar park feeding power into the Thai grid was designed and installed by the Hamburg-based, German company Conergy and handed over to its investors, Thai solar power company Ratchaburi Electricity and Yanhee Solar Power, who are also developing seven other solar power projects across Thailand. Thailand aims to have 20 per cent of its total energy production from renewable sources by 2020 and this farm will help Thailand avoid at least 1,971 tons of green house gasses annually.
