Dubai’s Limitless moves on with $220m Vietnam project

Limitless-VietnamDubai-based property developer Limitless is going ahead with its delayed Halong Star project in Vietnam and said on June 25 it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnamese government to commence work on the mixed-use development in the tourist hot spot of Halong Bay southwest of Hanoi.

In May, Limitless as already signed a joint-venture agreement with Vietnamese investment holding Sovico.

The development project includes homes, retail facilities and a hotel, all overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay on Vietnam’s northeast coast.

The agreement was signed in Dubai by Ali Rashid Lootah, chairman of Nakheel and Limitless, Pham Minh Chinh, Party Secretary of Quang Ninh Province and Tran Ngoc Thac, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE.

The project, which spreads across 125 hectares of land, is to have a 250-room five-star hotel, a 100-room luxury boutique hotel, 36 high-end serviced villas, 190 top-end villas, 85 luxury townhouses, 114 apartments, retail and commercial space, cultural arts village and commercial hospitality school, Limitless said.”
