Inside Investor is pleased to announce a major new investment forum in Doha, Qatar in October, aimed at bringing together political and business leaders from the GCC and the rest of Asia and identifying the vast investment opportunities available throughout the region.

The inaugural Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012, under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, will be held from October 8-9, 2012 at the St Regis Hotel in Doha.

With special focus on asset management and Islamic finance, the Forum is expected to attract more than 500 select delegates and dozens of speakers who represent the elite of Asia’s political and business worlds. The Forum will offer investors a unique and eye-opening window into inter-regional investment prospects between the GCC and the rest of Asia.

The event is organised by Hong Kong-based media and business consultancy Inside Investor, the company behind the 2011 Inside Malaysia Forum in Abu Dhabi featuring HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak, the 2011 Inside Sarawak Forum in Kuching and the 2011 Power Ladies UAE Malaysia Roundtable.

Inside Investor CEO Kamran Saddique said: “We are delighted to be organising the Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012 in one of the world’s most dynamic cities, Doha.

“Asian economies have proven to be extremely resilient during a difficult time for the rest of the world. The investment opportunities are vast, from East Asia to the GCC.

“The key issue for business leaders is to know what is happening on the other side of the world and the Inside Investor Forum Asia 2012 is designed to bring like-minded business leaders together to explore the investment opportunities that would otherwise remain unknown.

“Asset management and Islamic finance are huge growth markets in the GCC countries and this is a great opportunity for experienced fund managers in East Asia to look at the investment prospects available in the Middle East and vice-versa.”
