Bangkok ranks second in the Inside Investor poll on the best ASEAN cites for short business trips

An Inside Investor online poll among people frequently travelling in Southeast Asia for business has shown that Singapore is the most popular city for short business trips among ten ASEAN countries, closely followed by Bangkok and Jakarta.

117 business traveller responded to the poll with ten ASEAN capitals to choose from, casting their preference for three cities.

Kuala Lumpur took the fourth place, and further down followed Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Brunei and Manila. Less popular destinations for business travel apparently are Vientiane and Yangon (see graph below).

The poll was based on the quality and availability of air connectivity, infrastructure & transport, business hotels, business culture, effort to set up meetings, expenses, entertainment, shopping and safety.
