Stay tuned for kindle developments says Amazon CEO

Technology bloggers are scrambling to make sense of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ comments about new developments on his company’s Kindle e-reader.  He made several cryptic comments include things like “we will always be very mindful that we will want a dedicated reading device. In terms of any other product introductions, I shouldn’t answer…” when queried about changes to the Kindle’s screen, which is produced by E Ink.  Many analysts think the Kindle should use an LCD screen, but it seems Amazon is unwilling to implement such a change until the technology is reliable.  They also would don’t seem to want to damage their partnership with E Ink.  The only real information to be gleaned from Bezos seems to be his admonition to “Stay tuned!”
