Conference in Istanbul for women leadersIstanbul is set to host the Global Summit of Women 2011, and Malaysia is sending a 60-person delegation to the conference.  Led by the First Lady of Malaysia, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the Malaysian group will participate in seminars and meetings about raising the economic potential of woman worldwide.  Her invitation indicates Malaysia’s success in empowering women and girls to participate in industry and specifically, management.

Female entrepreneurs from around the globe will have the opportunity to network with both public and private sector contacts.  Government and business leaders will be discussing the theme of “Women: Bridging Solutions to the 21st Century” throughout the conference, which is also expected to strengthen economic ties between Malaysia and Turkey.
