FlyDubai opens route to HyderabadThe UAE’s 1.4 million Indian ex-pats now have an additional option for travel to their home country. Flydubai, Dubai’s low-cost carrier, has announced the opening of a thrice-weekly flight to Hyderabad, in South India, on June 11. They have offered service to north-central India via Lucknow since 2009. The company initially planned to open three flights at that time, but was forced to delay operations due to unforeseen circumstances. Hyderabad is known as “The City of Pearls” and is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. It is a major hub for technology and green innovations. Flydubai now offers flights to 37 destinations worldwide.
