Hospitals in the UAE taking cues from hotelsAs the healthcare industry in the United Arab Emirates is set to hit $11 billion in 2013, executives are looking at ways to increase both revenue and customer satisfaction.  They are looking towards Dubai’s booming hotel industry for tips, in hopes of making hospital check-ins and stays more like heading to a resort or spa.  A recovery room might feature comfortable sheets, a classy décor, and soothing music rather than an industrial hospital feel.  Revenue in the healthcare industry grew 12.2% in 2010 and is expected to continue to grow.
