IFA and group buy New York City hotel
IFA Hotels and Resorts, based in Kuwait, joined American companies Atrium Holding Company and Centerbridge Partners to purchase the Yotel Hotel in New York City. The group secured the necessary financing for the deal, which has an estimated value of $240 million. IFA Hotels and Resorts also recently invested $115 in Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Resort project.
Yotel, a pod concept hotel originally conceived by Yo Sushi, is the 4th location for the chain, which also operates at Heathrow, Gatwick, and Schipol. The Manhattan location was purchased from previous owner Related Company. IFA is now the majority shareholder.
