New healthcare joint venture eyes $1.35 bn Saudi hospital plan

HealthcareA new joint venture forged between RED House Group, a Beirut-based real estate investment company, and healthcare operator Rizk Healthcare, will soon develop a chain of specialised hospitals in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership will be called RRHH (Rizk RED House Healthcare).

Under the deal, RED house handed RRHH a $1.35bn project for 10 hospitals totalling over 3, 000 beds in Saudi Arabia in a venture with Ebram, a Saudi investment and healthcare firm.

Mazen Beaini, who is the chairman of RED House Group, added that RRHH was aiming to become “one of the major players in the healthcare development and operation sectors regionally” while RRHH chairman Dr Assad Rizk said that this project could give the company a greater role on the healthcare platform in the region.

RRHH will be headquartered in the Beirut Central District, with a branch in Riyadh. A signing ceremony is planned to take place in February 2012.

  1. Guess, word in the above mentioned statement has been wrongly placed as Hotel instead of Hospitals
