A recent report by the Interactive Advertising Bureau shows that first-quarter online advertising earnings are the best on record, boasting $26 billion in online revenues, $7.3 billion of which comes from the US. Display advertising is growing faster than search advertising, but searches still represent 46% of ads while displays represent 38%. US and worldwide spending on online advertisements have increased 14.2% and 14.3% respectively. Based on these positive numbers, industry analysts expect this to be another strong year in online advertisement sales.
