Philippines, Myanmar to sign visa-free agreement
The Philippines and Myanmar will sign an agreement that will grant Filipino visitors visa-free access to Myanmar. This is one of the deals to be signed in Manila on December 5 during the visit of Myanmar’s President Thein Sein.
Under the current rules, the Philippines allows Myanmar nationals to enter the Philippines without a visa for a 30-day period.
Myanmar, on the other hand, requires a visa “on arrival” from ordinary passport holders from the Philippines. It is good for 28 days.
