Royal Brunei signs deal with British Airways

DUGEGCOQMRRoyal Brunei Airlines has signed an agreement with British Airways to extend its route network to include a further six UK destinations via London Heathrow.

The deal, which took effect from October 16, will extend Royal Brunei’s reach, via British Airway’s domestic fleet, to Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Belfast.

Business class passengers will get access to all British Airways business lounges, while all passenger baggage will be checked-in all the way to the end destination.

Dermot Mannion, Royal Brunei’s deputy chairman, said: “As the only airline to guarantee a 100 per cent Dreamliner service on all long-haul flights, extending our route network throughout the UK through our partnership with British Airways means that even more passengers are now able to fly in comfort to a broad range of destinations in the Middle East, Asia and Australasia.”

Royal Brunei currently operates flights to 16 international destinations. On October 17, the airline has resumed its Brunei to Ho Chi Minh City route.
