Ten features travelers really want at airports

The survey reveals that many travelers miss basic features to spend dull hours while waiting for their connection flight, and many ideas aren’t that far fetched.

A cinema is the most-wanted airport facility, the global survey of more than 10,000 travelers has brought to light.

Sleeping facilities, which already exit at a few major airport, were the second most popular wish, with over a third of respondents voting for a place to lay their heads while waiting.

32 per cent of respondents said they would like an airport library, making it the third most wanted airport facility. And 31 per cent of flyers voted for a green outdoor area.

Nearly one in three voted for a vanity area offering salon and spa treatments, while others opted for a gym and even a karaoke area.
