Investvine’s Imran Saddique and Firoz Abdul Hamid recently had the opportunity to interview two of Malaysia’s up-and-coming leaders: Muhammad Rafique Rashid Ali, lawyer to former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad, and Syahredzan Johan, political secretary to parliament member and opposition leader Lim Kit Siang.

The two young politicians candidly shared their thoughts on outgoing US President Donald Trump, Malaysia’s turbulent political climate and its capacity for meaningful change, and the importance of upholding integrity and true democracy.
